LIFE AS A NEW MOM
Keeping it simple. Enjoying the little things. Learn to trust yourself. These are all the things that Annie learned by becoming a mother.
BODY DIVERSITY IS ABOUT ACCEPTING OURSELVES AS WE ARE.
- Annie, amateur cake maker & mother of Olivia, 6 months old
On a sunny Monday afternoon, Annie left her 6 months old daughter at home with her godmother to come to our atelier. For Annie, who is on maternity leave (and breastfeeding!), the photoshoot represented a great occasion to take some time for herself.
Being a Mimi brings me out of my comfort zone, and that's a good thing! - she said smiling.
Annie says the way she sees herself has changed since she became a mother. She learned to be less demanding towards herself, less critical - not only about her physical apparence, because she says she recovered fast from childbirth, but also about her skills as a mother.
Her secret to feel empowered? She does pole dancing every week. Way to go mom!
Thank you, Annie, for being a Mimi. We feel lucky that you have given us some of your precious time. We wish you lots of joyful moments with your lovely family. x
