FAQ's About Our Soy Wax Melts & Tealights

How do I use soy wax melts?

Place one or two cubes in the dish of any standard wax warmer, either electric or tealight-powered. As the wax heats, it slowly releases fragrance into the room. There's no flame, no smoke, and no wick to trim. When you're done, simply turn off the warmer and let the wax cool and solidify. You can remelt the same cubes until the scent fades.

How long does the scent last per wax melt cube?

Each cube provides approximately 5 to 6 hours of fragrance. A full pack of six cubes gives you over 30 hours of scent. Burn time varies slightly depending on your warmer, room size, and ventilation.

Can I use these wax melts in any wax warmer?

Yes. Our soy wax melts are compatible with any standard wax warmer, including electric warmers, tealight-powered warmers, and plug-in warmers. For the best pairing with our collection, we recommend our aromatic ceramic diffuser, which works with both wax melts and scented oils.

What's the difference between wax melts and scented tealights?

Wax melts are flameless, they're placed in a warmer where gentle heat releases the fragrance. Scented tealights have a wick and burn with an open flame, providing both fragrance and a warm glow. Both are made with the same natural soy wax and non-toxic fragrances.

Can I mix different wax melt scents together?

Absolutely. Combining two complementary scents in your warmer is a great way to create a custom fragrance. Try mixing a floral melt with a woody one, or a fresh eucalyptus with a warm amber. Start with one cube of each and adjust to your preference.

How do I clean wax out of my warmer to switch scents?

Wait for the wax to cool completely and harden. Then gently pop the wax disc out of the dish. Soy wax contracts slightly as it cools, making removal easy. Wipe the dish with a paper towel and you're ready for a new scent. If using our ceramic diffuser, the same method applies.

Are the tealight candles made with the same ingredients as your candles?

Yes. Our scented tealights are hand-poured at our South Shore of Montreal workshop using 100% natural soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and the same non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrances used in all our candles. They're vegan and cruelty-free.
