Our story began in a tiny Montreal studio, where Camille’s love of design and illustration blossomed. When she met Joao, the two combined their talents and values to create Mimi & August. What started as a small creative venture has evolved into a refined home brand focused on curated products that invite calm and comfort into your space.

Illustrations has always been part of the world of Mimi & August. Camille is the creative force behind every design: she sketches each motif, chooses every colour and imagines every detail. From the artwork on our packaging to the very shape and form of our candle jars and pottery, every piece is envisioned and designed by Camille herself. Her hands guide everything, from the vessel’s silhouette to the patterns and finishes. So our candles, ceramics and home decor accessories are truly unique to us. This artful attention makes every Mimi & August piece feel both playful and elegant.

We create goods that embody the words cozy living, thoughtful & timeless and pieces that last. Each candle and wax melt is hand‑poured in Quebec from biodegradable soy wax and non‑toxic fragrances. Our scents, ceramics, art prints and stationery are designed locally and crafted in small batches. We use clean ingredients and sustainable materials to ensure every item feels gentle on you and the planet.
