Are Mimi & August candles eco-friendly and non-toxic?

Yes. All our soy candles are made with 100% natural soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrances. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and contain no paraffin, synthetic dyes, or harmful chemicals. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches at our Montreal workshop.

Where are Mimi & August products made?

Our soy candles and ceramics are handmade at our workshop in Longueuil, on the south shore of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Our illustrated stationery and greeting cards are designed in-house and printed on recycled paper in Canada.

What makes your candles reusable?

Every Mimi & August candle is poured into a handmade ceramic cup designed to have a second life. Once the wax is gone, clean the cup with warm soapy water and use it as a coffee mug, planter, or decorative piece. When you want a new candle, simply drop in one of our soy wax refills — no need to buy a new container.

Do you ship across Canada and internationally?

Yes. We offer free shipping across Canada on orders over $64.99 CAD. We also ship to the United States and select international destinations. Local pickup is available by appointment at our Longueuil location.
