A few tulips, one dried branch, or nothing at all. The Silhouette Ceramic Vase is a small handmade ceramic vase with gentle curves, a softly waved rim, and a speckled cream glaze. It looks just as good holding a handful of flowers as it does standing empty on a shelf.
Each vase is shaped by hand in Quebec by ceramist Diane Brouillette, who has been working with clay since 1975. Its organic, minimal silhouette and neutral tone fit easily into modern, rustic, or cozy interiors, and because every piece is handmade, the curves and speckles vary slightly from one vase to the next.
At 13 cm tall with an 8 cm opening, it's made for small arrangements: a few fresh stems from the market, dried grasses, eucalyptus, or a single winter branch. Off the table, it works as a pencil holder on a desk, a makeup brush cup in the bathroom, or a catch-all for small things. It's also an easy holiday gift for anyone who loves flowers or handmade pieces.
