Description
Bright citrus, then a slow-building heat, the way a winter afternoon feels when the sun hits the snow. The Petal Cup Candle is a spiced orange candle that pairs Italian bergamot and juicy California orange with a spark of black pepper and chili. It's our winter scent for anyone who likes their cozy with a little fire in it.
Scent: Italian bergamot, California orange, and hints of tangerine, warmed by black pepper, chili powder, and soft musk.
Qualities: Warm, vibrant, spicy.
Inspired by: Winter citrus season, mulled spices on the stove, and that first glow of a fire on a frozen evening. It's sweet and bright up front, with real heat underneath.
Every cup is shaped by hand by ceramist Diane Brouillette, who has been working with clay since 1975. It's tall and handleless, in a cream glaze with fine speckles, and its rim opens like petals, so no two are exactly alike. Each one holds 10 oz of 100% natural soy wax, hand-poured with a non-toxic fragrance and a lead-free cotton wick in our South Shore of Montreal workshop.
When the last flame goes out, the cup stays. Clean out the leftover wax and use it as a tumbler for water or juice, a vase for a few winter branches, or a holder for brushes and pens. Its petal rim also matches our Wavy Tealight Holder.

Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, keep away from drafts, and never leave a burning candle unattended. To reuse the cup, let the wax harden, pop it out, and wash the cup by hand with warm soapy water.

Care / Clean / Reuse
- We wanted to create a candle that is as zero waste as possible and that you can reuse its container to the maximum. That's why we are proud to introduce our first Candle Cup! It means that once your candle is totally burnt, wash it so it can become your favorite coffee and tea mug!
- Taking care of your candle is very important. Never leave a candle burning unattended, and keep away from windy spaces. Plus, a candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. How to take care of your candle

Why we only use soy wax
