1. First use : melt that wax!

During the first use, make sure that the wax melts on the edges of the candle jar to prevent tunneling.

2. Trim your wick

Always trim your wick to about 1/4" before each utilisation, using wick trimmers or simple scissors. This allows a clean and safe burn, as well as increasing the candle lifespan.

3. Safety is the key

Never leave a candle burning unattended, and keep away from windy spaces.  Plus, a candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time.

Make sure that your candle is sitting on the perfect surface (flat, out of reach of pets and children, away from draperies). You can even put a coaster under your candle, to protect the surface below from the heat.

4. Do not burn all the way down

Stop burning your candle if only 1/4" of the wax is remaining: this can overheat the jar.

5. Keep your wax clean

Keep the candle wax free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times. This trick will help your candle last longer and smell good every time.

If you ever spill wax on a surface, simply clean it with hot water and soap. It’s super easy to clean up!
